Keith Rose
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Keith is a native of western North Carolina, and after 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps (1990-1995), moved back to western N.C. with his wife and growing family. Keith has been married to his wonderful wife, Shane, since 1992, and they have 3 adult children. (No grandbabies yet, but one’s on the way!) Pastor Keith considers his family to be his most important ministry.
After surrendering to God’s call into ministry in 2010, Pastor Keith has been at Zion Baptist Church since 2011. The first three years he served as associate youth pastor and has been senior pastor since 2014. His primary responsibilities are helping the church stay focused on Jesus and following Him, as well as leading people to faith in Jesus. He does this through preaching, teaching, praying, counseling and advising, reading and studying, as well as praying and chatting. If you have any questions just ask. Pastor Keith loves to talk!

Brandon Collins
STUDENT PASTOR
Pastor Brandon is a native of western North Carolina. He was born and raised in Burke County and has remained there for his service to the Lord. He has been married to his beautiful wife Alisha for 21 years. They have 3 children, Aiden, Brayden, and Alaina. He graduated from Freedom High School and Lees McRae College with a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for the NC Department of Juvenile Justice for 16 years before surrendering to his call into the ministry in 2022 (He’s a little stubborn). He has been at Zion Baptist Church his entire life where he has served as a Deacon, Children’s Church Director, Youth Leader, among other duties. He has served as the “interim” Student Pastor since February 2022. After surrendering to his call to Ministry in June 2022 he continued in that role until he was called to Zion as their Student Pastor in June 2023.
Pastor Brandon’s favorite saying (you will hear it a BUNCH) is “Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing, cause if you don’t keep the Main Thing the Main Thing, it won’t be the Main Thing. The Main Thing he is referencing is JESUS! Jesus is at the center of everything the Student Ministry at Zion is about. From our Bible Study, to our interest activities, we work hard to Keep the Main Thing the Main thing.

WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Zion Baptist Church currently has an opening for a part-time Music Ministry Director to lead our choir, music programs, and hand bells. For information, please call our office.
Lori Matthews
CHURCH SECRETARY and SUPER HERO
Lori has been our secretary at Zion for 6 years and a member for 3. She and her husband, Robert have a blended family with 5 children, and 7 grandchildren. She's active in women’s ministries and disaster relief and love gardening.
